Empowerment for Life Programme is aimed at empowering poor, vulnerable and marginalised groups in Northern Ghana for a better life. The programme is based on 25 years of integrated experience of development. Thus it has a unique basis to improve the lives of the people in northern Ghana through participatory development and mobilisation.
The programme has 3 components and is focused on education, occupation, local mobilisation and organisation as well as better access to and management of resources (water and food) through capacity building, advocacy, networking and development of ”best practice”.
The programme continues GV's tradition with development, based on the activities of thousands of local CBOs with the object of a regional popular movement for development - particularly including the young people in the develpment process on an equal basis.
