The Languages of School for Life

The basic principle is mother tongue teaching. Therefore School for Life started with the two languages Dagbani and Likpakpaaln, commonly used in the two pilot districts, Yendi and Gusheigu/Karaga   Bassari was added in 1998 in Zabzugu/Tatale and Anufu, the language of the Chekosis in Saboba /Chereponi, was added in 1999.

og to er drenge.
Pigen hedder Asana.
En af drengene hedde Adam
Og en hedder Napadoo

Children
My mother has children.
These are my mother's children.
There are three children.
One of my mother's children is a girl, and two are boys.
The girl is called Asana.
One of the boys is called Adam
And one is called Napadoo.
